Ecotitanium: New Generation Roofs Cleaning the Air

Ecotitanium roofs are covered with titanium technology that converts harmful air pollutants emitted by burning fossil fuels into calcium nitrate, a useful fertilizer. The titanium coating technology applied on the tiles to clean the nitrogen in the exhaust fumes of motor vehicles, when exposed to sunlight, neutralizes it with nitrogen oxides in the air and turns it into harmless calcium nitrate.

ECOTITANIUM Roof Cleans the Toxic Nitrogen Emitted by a Vehicle Driving 20,000 Km a Year.

    1. Ecotitanium roofs are covered with titanium technology that converts harmful air pollutants emitted by burning fossil fuels into calcium nitrate, a useful fertilizer.
    2. When exposed to sunlight, the titanium coating technology applied on the tiles neutralizes with nitrogen oxides in the air and turns them into harmless calcium nitrate.
    3. Calcium is a very important fertilizer for plants. Calcium nitrate washed on the roof with rainwater flows from the roof into the garden.

    4. Flowing from the roof to the garden, calcium nitrate acts as a useful fertilizer for the growth of plants in the garden.

Ecotitanium roofs save air conditioning energy and make them energy efficient by reflecting the sun's rays that cause intense heating of buildings to the atmosphere, especially in summer, thanks to their light coloured structures. Megaron New Generation Roof Technologies waterproofing system product Çatıser Reflective increases energy efficiency by reflecting sunlight as well as its vapour-permeable structure. More contribution can be made to energy efficiency with Ecotitanium tiles applied in conjunction with Çatıser Reflective.

1.) After vertical laths are made on the roof, horizontal lathing should be done, starting from the eaves with 34 cm (± 0.5cm tolerance) intervals before the tiles are laid, with the first lath being 5cm x5cm and the others 3cmx5cm.

2.) The tiles should start from the bottom of the eaves and be fixed with screws in the order shown below.

3.) Megaron tiles are not staggered. As stated below, each tile is interlocked and assembled.

4.) Since cut tile dust may cause dirt on the roof, it may require cleaning after application, it is recommended not to do tile cutting on the roof. The cut areas should be painted with touch-up paint.

5.) The use of a ventilation tile per 10 m2 in the roof slab is required for ventilation under the roof.

6.) Mortar should not be used in the installation of ridge mounting mortar and cut tiles. Dry ridge system should be used in ridge assembly.
